PARTIAL SELF‐FUNDED/FULLY‐INSURED PLAN ADMINISTRATION
CAS offers administration of high deductible fully‐insured plans where the employer self‐funds a lower deductible plan design for the benefit of the employees. We can also include an option of issuing checks directly to the provider‐of‐service or to the employee. Employers that have a fully‐insured program with a $500‐$1,000 deductible, would be considered a partial split‐funded plan. This program can significantly reduce the premium costs for the fully‐insured plan while retaining the rich benefits for the employees.
HRA/HSA PLAN ADMINISTRATION
CAS offers administration of Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Debit cards are optional for your employees.
HSA PLAN ADMINISTRATION
High-deductible health plans typically offer lower monthly premiums than traditional health plans. With an HSA-qualified HDHP, you can take the money you save on premiums and invest it in the HSA. While you are responsible for your initial health care costs until the deductible is met, the advantage is that the money saved on premiums is ready and waiting to pay for qualified medical expenses. In addition, HDHPs generally provide coverage for preventive care services, such as routine doctor's visits and annual physicals.
Beyond the lower premiums afforded by an HSA-qualified HDHP, an HSA account offers several benefits.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT PLAN ADMINISTRATION
CAS offers administration of FSA programs, which you have an option to include debit cards for all plan members.
DENTAL AND VISION PLAN ADMINISTRATION
CAS works with employers on dental and vision plan administration for self‐funded dental plans and will help to develop single and family dental rates. Employers will receive detailed financial and utilization reports each month.
CAS will provide the employer with the opportunity to save money without paying for carrier retention costs, while the plan still allows participants to seek dental and vision care from any licensed dental provider.
COBRA/HIPAA PLAN ADMINISTRATION
CAS administers general and event notices, disability extensions and excellent COBRA customer service.
ELIGIBILITY AND CONSOLIDATED BILLING
CAS recognizes that the process of reconciling and paying each carrier invoice can be quite time consuming. It is our goal to simplify this process for you, saving you valuable time and money. We will receive the monthly billing statements from each carrier and reconcile them using our enrollment and eligibility system to ensure that you are paying accurate premium amounts every time. Our billing manager will identify and resolve all billing discrepancies so you do not have to deal with them. This ensures your employees have accurate coverage selections and you do not ever overpay a carrier. All you have to do is send one monthly payment to CAS and we will break it out to each of the carriers.
